What is Salary Cap Sports?
Salary Cap Sports is a fantasy sports platform where you build and manage teams using a salary cap instead of a traditional draft.
Is it free to play?
Yes. Salary Cap Sports is free to play. Some optional features, such as purchasing extra trades, may be available.
Do I need an account?
You can play as a guest without signing up. Creating a free account ensures your teams and results are saved.
How do I create a team?
Select a sport and game mode, then choose “Create Team.” You’ll set a team name and begin building your roster.
How does the salary cap work?
Each team must stay under the salary cap when adding players. In the SCS Original game, player values adjust based on manager demand rather than fixed pricing.
How do trades work?
Trades are allotted each week and always carry over if unused. In the SCS Head2Head game, additional trades can be purchased.
Why can’t I make a trade?
Trading may be locked due to game timing, roster limits, or trade restrictions. Check the Rules page for details.

Do I have to join a league?
No, joining a league is not always required.
In SCS Original, joining a league is optional. Every manager automatically competes against all other managers, with results shown on the global leaderboard.
In SCS Head2Head, teams created during the preseason with a full roster are automatically placed into a league just before the regular season begins.
